What type of storage ottoman should I get?

I'm wanting to replace my coffee table with storage ottoman, because I need the storage and has a young daughter who keeps hitting her head on the corners of our box. I have a sofa with a sheath of dark stone and two large brown leather chairs. Ottoman What color should I get, and should I go with cloth or leather? Most I see are dark brown leather, but I already have two brown leather chairs. That might be an exaggeration. Do not know. What do you think?
