Cushion Slipcover Chair

How much would re-upholster my old seat? I should bother, or simply try and clean it somehow?

I have a chair that has been in my family for years – that belonged to my grandmother gave my mom. My mom very RELUNCTANTLY gave me as a teenager – BIG MISTAKE. I put at the corner of my room and that is where it has been since – for almost 13 years. My mom died 8 years ago and since then I left my old house (Dad) and left the place along with many other custom items that fit in my apartment. My cat was quite taken in the chair like yours. Well, over the years a ton of cat hair has accumulated on it, and i cannot get it off – I've tried vacuuming, lint brushes, tape, sponges, everything (that I know of) and still There are a lot of hair on it! Once lifted the cushion and it appeared that an animal was there! It is a chair is very good and I keep it and use it, but I am disgusted with the hair. How much does it cost to get re-upholstered – or I get the hair? Should I buy a cover and hide the mess? Any ideas?
