Barn Cranberry

How can I decorate my living room cranberry?

My husband and I just painted the living room cranberry. I'm beginning to think decorating ideas, but I'm having trouble finding out what will work with brilliant color and style of home. This is a 1920 bungalow, so I maintain that age, comfortable style and mix it with classic designs from Pottery Barn. We have a green / brown Pottery Barn sofa, chair of club large, rectangular ottoman Brown (used as an alternative to coffee table) and a beige / sage Persian carpet. I was thinking about white photographs and black from the places I visited, but I need other options. Perhaps Paris vintage Italian posters /? Would that be too busy / long? What suggestions have to finish accent table, wall decor, picture frame and ends? Furthermore, it is okay to have wood furniture with brown wall art with black frames?

Sooo funny! One of my design projects in the school began as a study in blueberries (yes, cranberries) … that led to one pallettes my color: blueberry, shades of brown, cream and deep earth / mossy green. Sound like the colors in your living room!. Anyway, I digress. All that matters in your description (except for the armchair) is the absence of patterns. At least seems that everything in your living room is solid color (except, of course, by the Persian carpet). I wonder if perhaps some well-placed cushions, upholstery made of special fabric that you will find that includes shades of cranberry, browns and greens that add a little dazzle? Find two or three structures that complement each other. You know: one who is a healthy mix of the three, one being on all of blueberries and one who is above all a brilliant (or more so) green than appears on the sofa color of the carpet. One of them is bound to a different color or colors, which could add to his palette, opening the door to other additions to its place. The first decades of the 1900s were about to return individual artisans art … because the industrial revolution had led to the need of artisans in the new century. Find a couple of interesting pieces of these artisan times (or wannabe's of these times) it would complement old style I think you're talking about … and help keep the heat I think you're looking for. Even something like making a few votive candles cheap homemade wooden blocks clean. Those who take the wood from the ground to the eyeline … If you are subservient to the idea of putting Stark b & w photos on the wall (which I do not think it such a bad idea), could mount a shelf (with hidden mounts) in a wall, staggered or in unison. A strategically placed glass vase with calla lilies depression really good fake (or pale green / white hydrangea globes) was thus the decor is already doing. Pottery Barn is definitely a great place to shop: they take the old styles and make them modern (love their old oscillating fans ….). Anyway, I like what one commentator said that others on the use of metal frames for any photos to put on the wall. Anyway, it sure helped brainstorming to any of this. Sounds like what is already rich, warm and wonderful. I'm sure I must add that it will be very beautiful. Good luck.
